Inzamam-ul-Haq named national team's chief selector
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Former national captain and prominent cricketer Inzamam-ul-Haq was appointed chief selector of the Pakistan cricket team for the second time on Monday.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) named him as the chief selector of the national cricket team in place of Haroon Rasheed.
After taking charge, Mr Haq will select the team for the Afghanistan series and the Asia Cup, which will be announced by Thursday.

On the other hand, Misbah-ul-Haq - head of the technical committee - has advised team director Mickey Arthur, head coach Grant Bradburn, bowling and batting coaches to keep working, however, no decision has been made yet about manager Rehan-ul-Haq and other non-technical staff.
Sources say the PCB officials have tried to know the demands of the players on the central contract by holding a long meeting on video link in Sri Lanka, their opinion is also being given importance.
According to the sources, the team for the World Cup has not been discussed yet and the most important decisions are likely to be taken this week.
